(#1849) (#2289) X-Git-Tag: v3.6.2rc2~8 X-Git-Url: https://granicus.if.org/sourcecode?a=commitdiff_plain;h=b0fba8874a4bd6bf4773e6efdbd8fa762e9f05bd;p=python bpo-30500: urllib: Simplify splithost by calling into urlparse. (#1849) (#2289) The current regex based splitting produces a wrong result. For example:: http://abc#@def Web browsers parse that URL as ``http://abc/#@def``, that is, the host is ``abc``, the path is ``/``, and the fragment is ``#@def``.
